Many offices, buildings and landlords stamp keys with "Do Not Duplicate", and hardware stores will not touch them. If you are authorized to have copies, we can help.
What’s included
- Copies of keys stamped Do Not Duplicate
- Authorization check before we cut
- Several copies for managers, tenants or staff
- Rekeying if you would rather replace the key system
- Honest advice about what can and cannot be copied
What to expect
The stamp on a key is a request from whoever issued it, not a lock. We copy these keys only when you can show that you are the owner, manager or otherwise authorized to have them.
Some restricted systems use patented keyways that can only be copied with authorization from the system owner. If your key is one of those, we will tell you plainly what is possible and what the next step is.

Do Not Duplicate Key Copy FAQs
Can you copy any Do Not Duplicate key?
Many, but not all. Restricted keyways may need authorization from the system owner.
What do you need from me?
ID and some proof that you are authorized, such as a lease, a letter from the owner or manager, or business documents.
What if I cannot get authorization?
Rekeying the lock is usually a straightforward alternative, because you then control the new keys.
